こんばんは～
今日アルバイトはよかったですが、the day felt long!
It was a pretty short day too, only six hours but it felt long by the time I got off work.
Last night I had a difficult time sleeping.
今夜も眠らないよ。
最近お母さんはいつも心配しています。
I hope she feels better soon, I don't like to see her worrying so much.
Tomorrow I only have a four hour shift and then Friday I have off.
I am going to hit the gym either this morning or tonight (since it is already Thursday...!)
I went out to eat with my sister and friend a little after work, it was nice. We ran a couple errands then come home.
The time really just flew by yesterday.
I started practicing a little Korean too! Since I have dabbled in it quite a few times I like to study it in comparison to Japanese. It is easier to relate it to another Asian language than to English.
In fact, the カタカナromanization is much easier to me than the English.
すごいね！！
I like it! So, I studied this a little bit today, just copying it down and also using another website with examples to practice. I only studied for a bit but I want to pick up some Korean and further my Japanese studies this summer.
I need to focus my mind on the right stuff or I wont get anything done!
It's not that it is anything special, but lately I really wish I had companion to talk to. Someone to just talk to freely without feeling any problems about it.
Honestly though, the thought of wanting to talk to someone about deep problems dies really quickly for me (haha)
I change my mind almost instantly after I think that. I am a stubborn girl but maybe because I know everything always works out fine.

Yesterday my shift extended to much longer than I had expected.
I ended up working from 12-0:00!
It was packed all day and by 15:30 there were only two of us left in the store.
The rush continued on and we had so much to do but not enough time to catch up.
It wasn't particularly stressful but there was so much to do and I didn't want to leave my coworker to do it alone.
After work my sister and I went to Denny's for dinner. It was nice and I was super hungry!
Today I cleaned a little and have just been resting. I don't feel like doing too much to be honest
I also started watching Time Slip Dr.Jin...
At the moment I don't know how much I really like it...
I am going to give it a chance though because I may just be comparing it to Rooftop Prince.
The plot is just a little bizarre and sort of rubbed me the wrong way.
A person with a fetus in his brain? Awkward chemistry between the main female and male leads? Female lead suddenly in the past as well but as her previous life?
Just..hmm...I don't like it so far.
Jaejoong is gorgeous though, no surprise there!

おはようございます！
昨日の仕事は。。。よかった。
Yesterday work didn't turn out too badly.
It got very very busy at one point but our supervisor came in to help pick up the slack a little since we were short some help.
Today I will be working with three other people until the last two hours or so and then it will just be two of us.
I feel pretty good about it though, it should be fine today.
Saturday will be crazy busy though and I will be there for an eight hour shift
So, after work yesterday, my sister and I went to a real nice little cafe called "Cinnamon Tree."

Overall the cafe was really nice. It is a bit pricey but the vibe is really nice!
The only complaint I have is that I was still served my latte in a paper cut instead of a coffee cup. I saw quite a few stacked around the espresso machine so I kind of assumed..
Today I will be happy if work goes by fast and I think for the most part it should.
Tonight I will catch up on both episodes of Rooftop Prince! It is finally over...
Not only will the drama be over (with my life on Wednesdays and Thursdays!) but I also keeping seeing that episode 19 is extremely sad.
I can't wait to watch it but I refuse to watch it before work! My eyes would get all puffy...
So, tomorrow I have off so tonight I want to go to the gym.
I just rather lay here on the sofa and watch this documentary on Robin Hood than go to work...

Beach Evening

今日友達とビーチに行きました！
ビーチが好きでもきらいでもありませんが、今日はよかったです
とても楽しかった。
Originally we were maybe going to go a bit further to meet some people at another beach.
It got pretty late so we just decided to do a little shopping then go tour beach.
My friend had to buy a bathing suit and was also looking for a "beach dress."
I tried on some dresses but...
In the end they weren't really suiting. We went for an ice coffee then headed to the beach!

We had fun drawing in the sand and taking pictures. She was having some trouble uploading them which is a shame but hopefully we can see them later then. Some came out pretty cool!
We pretty much proclaimed our love for Big Bang and 東方神起 in the sand.
Just a subtle expression of admiration...

今日アルバイトうをしています。
とても心配しています。。
I don't feel very confident yet. I am trying to do the best I can but I still don't feel like I know enough yet.
I work from 12:00 to 16:30 today.
がんばりますね！
午後二時から四時半までマネージャーと仕事をしています。
マネージャーだけ仕事をしています。
I am working alone with the manager today for two and a half hours. I still have a lot to learn so I am really nervous.
The best advice she has given me to prepare is not to be nervous and just to jump into the work.
Since I am not familiar with it yet, I am pretty nervous thinking about going in today.
If I do well these next two afternoons (since they are the busiest) then I should be fine on Saturday when I work from 12-20:00.
It might all sound like complaining but since I haven't worked the line before and the help is short I am nervous that I will just be more of a burden then help.
I will do my best! I can do it! I really want to throw everything into working today and not be nervous to make mistakes.
I guess I have to experience it to learn, mistakes and all. The worse that can happen is a customer gets upset or the manager becomes flustered with me, right?
I know it will be fine soon. I know I will catch on. Today I will do great! I will be focused and willing to take some risks. I will be able to help out my manager too.

お久しぶりね！～
It has been quite awhile since my last update and a couple things have happened.
I started my new job and I am still in training, working part time hours (which is fine with me!)
I overall like it but it is a little stressful. The work is very fast paced and while some people are very understanding about mistakes other people are not.
I have a lot to learn still but I think I am catching on pretty well. There is so much more behind working here than I could have ever expected! Really!
One of the plus sides is that since my sister also works in another restaurant, we can both trade off our thoughts about things and have similar stories (hers are a little funnier than mine!)
This past Saturday I also spent all day with my mom. We went grocery shopping, passed by the library and then went out to eat at this really nice seafood place!
It was across from the water and reminded me of a restaurant in Maryland or Georgia. It was really quaint and the food was great!

I had a really nice time and I think my mom did too! When we got back I just wanted to go into a food coma though!
My sister went to my dad's today because I didn't feel like getting up early this morning. I have just been cleaning the house and had some breakfast.
Nothing too exciting but man did the house need to be cleaned! I am going to put in a load of laundry soon too.
Yesterday I met up with my friend and we went out to lunch to catch up a little after work. It was really nice. We walked around a park not too far from here after because the weather was so pleasant.
Today the weather is similar and I am tempted to go dig out my old bicycle to ride up to the park on.
It is perfect weather for a bike ride!
A couple nights ago I also watched a pretty good movie called "Rough Cut."
I am a sucker for gangster flicks so I really liked this one and the male leads were really good!
Today I think I am going to work on some training stuff, maybe work out a little, make some coffee and possibly go to the park.
Sounds pretty good to me!

朝マネージャーは電話をしました。
I finally got a confirmation from the job! My orientation begins tomorrow so I am relieved to say the least!
Today I am going to buy some black pants for the uniform as well as some black shoes.
I need to replenish my account as soon as possible too. The gym membership, with other little costs here and there has been draining my account. Easily today I will spend around $60 or so on the clothing for work.
This morning I also got a reply back from the study abroad office. Basically I need to make an appointment with the office to discuss in further detail my plans.
I looked through the programs that weren't offered through my school and I don't really feel like they offer much more than ours. I feel like at the moment it is between Ritsumeikan and Kansai Gaidai for me.
My preference is Kansai Gaidai but for my major I think I should shoot for Ritsumeikan.
We will see...
After orientation tomorrow I will make a phone appointment to figure out what I should do.
Today I would like to:
Go to the gymStudy Japanese Go to the grocery store
Not too many plans right? Just a few things~
I finally watched the JBJ talk show with ユン and チャンミン！

I recently bought some new dresses. They are the same in black and red. I liked them both and they were on sale. Now I just need an opportunity to wear them...
This would be an appropriate time for my future boyfriend to make an appearance...
It is okay hun, I am laughing at me too!
I also embraced my inner child and bought a t-shirt to pay homage to the ridiculous amount of hours I have spent watching Dragon Ball Z lately...
