こんばんは～
今週末めっちゃ忙しかった。
火曜日お父さんの家に来ました。
Now we have just been working with my dad; we worked on the house a lot and also helped him at a client's house.
It has been really busy though!
きのうお母さんは私に電話をかきました。ほんとうに悲しかった。
お母さんは仕事をやめました。ほんとうに難しいね。。
We spoke a lot about it and I tried to calm her down the best I could.
たくさん祈りますね。（人 *）I hope she can keep her head up and her eyes open.
そして、明日FIUに戻るはずですけど、妹ちゃんの車壊れました。
大変ですね。。でもしょうがない。
We will have to see what happens. My father and sister are calling places tomorrow morning to get the missing piece for the car. At the current time it is unsafe to drive so we have no choice.
If they can't find the part, we have to wait until Wednesday for the part..
It is good because we get to help my father out some more with work but also a little frustrating.
In between writing this I stopped and talked with my boyfriend so now my train of thought is a little off..
Anyways,
I am looking forward to going back to school and starting up the new semester.
I am also looking forward to..
- Exchanging gifts
- Date with the boyfriend..
- Receiving the stuff I ordered online
- Beginning the new semester!

I have been studying Japanese formally for about three semesters now..

メリークリスマス！
Today is Christmas! How is everyone doing?
Here, my mother cooked a variety of sea food appetizers and I prepared some shrimp bruschetta.
They turned out very delicious!

I am so full now though! In one sense I will be really happy to go back to University and work on my eating habits again. Holiday cooking seriously kills me! (笑）
Last night I also began preparing my Christmas cards. Every year my sister and I make personalized ones for my father because he only requests them. For as long as I can remember, we have done this..
I hope I am not losing creativity however!

How are they? Usually I stick to drawing characters, typically Snoopy, The Grinch or Winnie the Pooh. My father's card is a bit more of my own original idea.
I have some more cards to do tonight for friends and so I will finish that.
Today I have a couple thoughts in mind..
Leaving for my dad's Tuesday, leaving for Uni on the 30th or 31st New semester Exercise and diet New Year's Eve Studying Kanji? (I promised I would!!) Today I also ordered myself another small gift.. |

「クリスマスイブ」☆

こんばんは!今日はクリスマスイブですね～
うれしいです！
We just had dinner, coffee is making and I am with my family. I can't ask for much more than that!
The past couple days have been pretty busy.
On Thursday morning I woke up early to go to my father's house to help work a little.
I got a coffee and prepared a small card for the lady we would be working for. She is always more than generous to us (like family even) and we have worked for her quite a bit.
The work wasn't too difficult but it took the whole day and I was pretty exhausted after. We went to eat at this little spaghetti place around the corner before heading home.
I pretty much passed out after my shower when we got back. My stepmom had bought us some gifts which was really sweet!

Her gifts were really thoughtful and cute. I really love Mickey Mouse and she knows it.
I fell asleep pretty early that night and the next morning we woke up, went to breakfast then helped my father continue moving his stuff from his old house.
I couldn't imagine exactly what he was thinking, having to move all of his stuff out of the house he had lived in for so many years. His new house is nice, albeit much smaller with all the animals and stuff, but nice.
We helped pack and load boxes as well as furniture onto a trailer then carry it back to the other house. Time seemed to go by quickly even though we had a late start. We ended the evening by all going to eat together and talking about next week.
We are leaving so soon...this upcoming Friday, in fact.
On the way home we did a little shopping for my sister and picked up her friend who spent the night. I spoke with my boyfriend for quite a bit on the phone too before passing out (he talks so much!! Just kidding hun!)
Today I did shopping and it was quite successful!
How do they look?
I also bought my mom a "little black dress" for Christmas. I am really glad she liked it!!
I spoke with some of my friends today too and also my dad.
Overall I am just really happy. It has been a pleasant day and I know tomorrow will be too.

おはようございます～
月曜日お母さんの家に帰りました。
とても眠かったから、早く寝ました。
目が覚めた時、コーヒーを飲んで、お母さんと話しました。
３時ぐらい話しました！
Afterwards, I texted my friend to see if she wanted to join me for a little shopping.
妹ちゃんは買い物が大きらいだから。
まず、衣料品店「ROSS」に行きました。新しいドレスを買いました。

次へレストランに行きました。レストランをしりませんでした。
We decided to stop in and try it. On the front of the restaurant it said it was Chinese but also had Korean writing "welcome" on the window.
I got チャプチェ and キムチ with a side of rice. My friend also ordered キムチ but got chicken lo mien.
めっちゃおいしかった
あとでプレゼントを買いにモールに行きました。
何も見つけられませんでした！
It was disappointing!
We sat and talked over a little coffee afterwards then stopped by just a couple stores before I took her home.
Overall, the trip was pretty successful! I also bought a curling iron so I could style my hair a little differently.
Driving back home there was also many beautiful Christmas lights. I wanted to stop the car every few minutes and just get out to look at the lights!
I fell asleep texting my boyfriend last night..ほんとうにごめんなさい！

たぶん友達に会いますでも、we will see what happens because I am not sure yet.
