Say Goodbye, Goodbye~

The past two weeks have been so busy.
I feel like I got very little sleep and stressed out about so many things.
Everything was leading up to the final exams.
Already, later today I am leaving to go back home.
I am really happy and kind of sad at the same time.
I had to say goodbye to a lot of people today. Some people I will see them next semester
and others I might not see again.
I can't even explain how thankful I was to meet them though. When I get home I want to write a better blog and one a little more detailed. But, for now, I'll just type about yesterday.
I woke up and had a great breakfast with my closest friends. We reviewed a little about this semester (the highlights) There was many!
I had cleaned and began packing a little as well. I ran to Walmart with my roommate to get a storage container. I also got a card for Dereck's birthday as well as a going away card for きょうへいさん。
It was raining so badly though! Almost immediately when I got back it was time to go to Dereck's birthday party.
I met up with Matthew, Roderick and Hamza. We had to run some errands before we went to Dereck's house. We also ate something quickly at Wendy's. It was really good and they are always amusing to be around.
We picked up some other people on the way and then went to Dereck's house.
The night was really fun but a lot happened. Matthew added somethings to きょうへいさん card and then we gave it to him.
I really didn't expect him to cry but he did. It was so touching and difficult to watch. I realized again how fun it has been having him here with us this past month. He's such a great guy and something like a younger brother. It was difficult for me to watch and makes me sad thinking about it now.
He thanked us in between crying and we got him a little chain necklace to remember us by. He was so sincere and seemed really happy. This made me super happy to see. We talked a little more then went back to Dereck's house.
Some complications happened with his cousin however right when we arrived. We had to call an ambulance even. It was scary and I think everyone was on edge a little just worrying what will happen.
She eventually was taken to the hospital. Afterwards the atmosphere was light again. We talked about games and music a lot. We were trying to distract him because it was his birthday and we didn't want him to be worried.
Even so, it was getting late and everyone was beginning to get tired.
We took some pictures with きょうへいさん and then hugged him and left.
Thinking about everything today and about the semester has me a little sad somehow.
I am really happy but sad to have to say goodbye to everyone.

Final Exams--さようなら

I am just making a brief post because my sister asked me to do one!
Maybe Friday night or Saturday evening I will make a more complete one.
It is funny because I haven't written that much this semester but I have so much to say--maybe too much!
I want to write some of it down because somethings I don't want to forget. This semester has had ups and downs for me but mostly wonderful things.
On one hand I am anxious to see my family and spend time with them. There really is no place like home. On the other hand, I will be leaving my closest friends for about four months.
The least I can say is I will miss them a lot. FIU is like a second home to me. Don't get me wrong though, I am really happy to be going back home and have so many stories to tell!
Just a few minutes ago I finished my public speaking final exam. That is really wonderful. That means that officially I am finished with the class! I definitely expect an A, so that's great. I got an 86 on the final.
Tonight I am going to go to Starbucks at 1am with some friends. Why? Because this beautiful finals week it is open until 3am. I am going to take advantage of it (laugh)
In the meantime I need to study for my History of Life exam tomorrow.
I'm praying that everyone does awesome on their finals. The semester is winding down so fast--I really need to update this blog!
