Good Morning!~☆

Today I woke up quite early.

Somehow it reminds me of being at home except I made a lot less coffee since it is only for myself and not my mom too.

The atmosphere is so relaxed this morning. It is just the perfect morning content feeling.

So, yesterday I had an exam. It was completely different than what I expected and very short too.

I am not looking forward to seeing the results of the exam but I will just push harder for next time.

All of my exams this semester (although the classes are not all difficult) have been a little difficult!

I am not worrying myself just yet--I still have room to try harder and make up the grades.

Today I have another exam and then beginning studying for two on Friday.

がんばりますね～

With such a big breakfast I am ready to take on the day!

Today I will study with some friends for this exam and probably crash a little later.

This weekend is my birthday but I am not sure yet what I am going to do exactly.

My great uncle sent a message early (though I think he is unaware of it). I haven't seen him in...hmm..maybe six/seven years?

I was really happy and felt really touched getting his message. Sincerely, it made me feel very warm.

Speaking of which, my sweet and adorable cousin also tagged me in her photo of "my bestest friends." Soo cute, also really touching.

I wanted to work out a plan to take her some places and do things with her last summer but it didn't work out. I am determined to make it happen for Winter break or for next summer.

She is so sweet.

Lately, although not everything has been perfect and I have been a little stressed, so many good things have happened.

Really, it's...very nice.

I still don't have a job yet but money has seemed to been slowly working out. 

I am just happy because I have been meeting good really nice people and experiencing new things. 

My friend also has been talking to me a little more about study abroad in Japan. I think I have my mind set to try and go for next Fall semester.

That would truly be wonderful. I am going to try and work hard for it. I have just enough time to look into scholarships and save up money.

今週末はめっちゃ忙しかったけど、楽しいかった。

金曜日妹ちゃんとたくさん友達「Sushi Cafe」に行った。

びっくりした！

妹ちゃんは「As an early birthday dinner let's go」と言った。

このレストランに行ったことがありません。

たくさん写真をとって、たくさんおいしい食べ物を食べて、カラオケをした。

めっちゃめっちゃ楽しかった。

My friend and sister told the waiter it was my birthday. 

I was so surprised, suddenly, they were clapping and singing with a birthday dessert!

They are both so thoughtful. I felt suddenly very emotional though...

It is already early morning. Last night went by really quickly for me.

I had a bit of studying and reading to do so I spent last night and early this morning finishing it up.

Recently I have been sick! I made a delicious and big pot of vegan chili this past weekend because I was craving some comfort food.

It turned out pretty good and my sister as well as my friends liked it.



I have been eating it since Sunday but trying to do so sparingly because I really like it!

This past weekend was pretty fun. I felt a little nervous because I had my first exam in Linguistics on Monday evening and also was still feeling very congested.

On Friday I went with a couple friends to the mall and then to a Japanese restaurant.

I think this Saturday we are planning to do something else again and a sleep over. I am happy for it because they are both really cool!

The exam was...difficult but not as difficult as I expected. I really don't know what to think completely. I should have studied more and could have easily made a great grade.

On the exam there was a couple parts...

1) Looking through sets of the IPA and deciding which was misplaced.
- This gave me the most trouble and had the most weight on the exam.
- I should have studied the manner of articulation more and also the tongue height and advancement of vowels.

Next Tuesday I have my first exam in Social Choice math. I want to beginning reviewing and studying very soon.

Today is one of my long days of classes.

I am again motivated to search about jobs. I have to figure this out and I have to find something.

Many things have happened and already some things I have forgotten about, so as always I will write some of the highlights.

Today was a little busy! 

I can happily say that I accomplished more than I expected.

For this reason I decided I could relax a little and make a small post.

クラスはよかったです。新しいクラスが好きです。

Although I have been taking many cell phone pictures, I haven't updated my blog.

I took them with the intention of making more blogs but I haven't!

To explain the past two weeks I am just going to speak generally.

 Went to まいど Japanese Restaurant 

 Got my nails done

 Spent time with my close friends

 Watched new episodes of Protect the Boss with my sister

 Began Fall semester classes
 Went to the gym
 Cooked

I have also been cooking a lot too! These past two weeks I feel like I have cooked so much. My sister often comes over to my dorm and eats dinner with me. I have even cooked for one of my friends too!

Lately a lot has been on my mind though. Many things to think about.

There has been some confusing things lately that I can't ignore. There has also been some things that have happened that make me wonder how this week will turn out.

Sometimes it feels like a drama. It isn't the first time I felt this way though.

The most important thing to me now however, is finding a job.

I feel like I am being ungrateful by just going to school. I should be searching for something so recently I have had a wake up call that is giving me good motivation.

がんばります！

Today (because it is already late) I have many plans.
I really need to stay focused for them.

 Study for Kanji test on Friday and complete language lab homework

 Study for General Linguistics quiz

 Complete reading for Japanese Culture and Society Class

Go to sleep early

Thinking about it all I already feel tired. I really need to stay focused and all of this really needs to be done. I also need to add "have coffee" to my list too!

As some side notes...

とうしくん texted me today. I was really surprised but not in a bitter way. He seems to be doing fine and that makes me happy for him.

On Thursday night I spent a lot of time talking with my roommate. It was nice but I drank a little too much. Between the two of us, we both communicated easily just sitting and sharing some wine.

Today my friend and I wasted  a good couple hours of our life watching "꽃미남 주식회사"

It was...well...these guys are just so ridiculous. However, it was addicting. (click on the picture if you're curious. It is an ulzzang show)



I am also curious about how this week will play out. I really don't know. I guess let's see what happens!
