Well, atleast I thought so (laugh) I haven't written in quite a few days, which is a record for me ne. But, I have been a little busy and then just maybe not so interested in writing something.I think I will try my best to condense down the few days that I have passed. The first most important change is I am out of school for the summer. 、(￣▽￣)V いえｰい! Maybe it is too early to celebrate because I don't have my final grades yet but I feel relatively confident.
The top new developments and changes are:
- Volunteering at Harris House
- Applied for inventory job
- Got my hair cut
- Seeing Shou in July
It just so happens that a place that my sister's friend said was not taking anymore volunteers was! I really happy I called and spoke to them for about thirty minutes. The place is only a little over two miles from here and basicly you work with kids ages 6-12. Seemed perfect for me because I can gain a little experience and see if teaching will be my true passion. I don't know too much about it other than what she mentioned and our (my sister and I) start tomorrow. You get to pick when you can volunteer and it runs from June 9 to about August 7, I believe. The first three weeks we could both defenitely commit too.
The general hours are from 8.30-2.30 Tuesday-Friday. Seems interesting ne. I am excited to get started and I know it will keep me busy which is nice.
The second development is about applying for RGIS. I went online and filled out the application. My mom was showing me how somethings worked too at their office. It is not a mindless job but it is a rather easy job for the minimum wage earners. You just count items and you have equipment to do so. The problem arising with that is transportation and I can only pray that that will work out alright. (●´人｀●) I really need the money this summer and the job experience. I know that by next Christmas I will have a car probably, but it's really tricky business with us. I have a lot of hoops I'll have to jump through to get it. Wrenn has told me that a friend at work needs a babysitter four four kids on ocassion though. I am very interested in that but the transportation again is an issue. I just hope everything can work out for both hopefully. I am more than willing to work and get my feet wet, so to speak..
The other new sort of change is that I got my hair cut! Well, it was kind of a spur of the moment thing. Wrenn and I went to the gym a few days ago and we both were in serious need of a hair cut. My cut came out nothing like the photos I brought in but it still looks cute (thankfully). I was rather nervous about it but it's summer time and it was getting so long. I much rather have Shou cut it for me but the plans to see each other have changed too (as mentioned).
It's much shorter than before and very different than what I expected but I like it. It will be ready for another cut soon in a month anyways.
The final new change is when I see Shou. There was a possibility it was going to be this week and then in the end things sort of changed too "well maybe July is just best for now.." It really sucks but what can you do? There really is no way to win it seems and I just have to wait and wait and wait. I'll do it though, I mean, it's more than worth it but I really wish there was something I could do to change the fact of how long we wait. For now though, I am just missing Shou really badly and waiting for July. (^-^)☆ε^ )
That is kind of like my organized thoughts besides some of my goals for this summer. Maybe I should just speak about my goals for tonight? (laugh)
- Write more of "Shutting Your Eyes"
- Watch K-horror "Geol Sokuero"
- Study some Japanese
- Make Lunch for tomorrow
- Gather clothing for the week
