ひさしぶりね～
So, I have been a little busy since I returned home last Friday.
It is kind of hard to believe that a week has gone by already! Really!
On Monday of last week my sister and I joined a gym around the corner from us. On the weekdays it is open 24 hours which is super convenient!
We also came up with a little competition analogy of sorts to keep us motivated to lose weight over the summer.
It is so silly, but it is based on a point system and Dragon Ball Z. We have both been watching it like crazy lately (I forgot how addicting it was as a kid!)
So, so far so good. We have pretty much been working out every other day. I really would like to try and stick to every day though. It is difficult because sometimes I feel too lazy to even do a thirty minute video.
I will have to try hard though if I want to see results!

I did a little bit of shopping but I didn't end up buying either of these outfits. My sister and I also took a trip to Walmart to pick up somethings.
On Friday I went with Chunnie and another friend to eat at a Korean place we hadn't tried before called "Kimchi."
We ordered a lot of spicy foods! The drive was quite long though, over an hour and felt much longer than that even.
The portion sizes were a little small and the place was a bit expensive but it was a nice experience.
On Saturday I went to the mall with my sister and Chunnie. We had first gone to eat at a Japanese place around the corner from here. It was really good and the prices were pretty decent!
My sister had been craving sushi like a wild animal haha.
I have continuously been filling out job applications as well!
I am trying not to get discouraged but I feel like everyone around me has somehow had better luck.
I know that isn't the best mindset, even typing that and reading it again I realized how selfish that sounds.
I am doing my best however and I hope it will pay off!
Today I have two leads and hopeful thoughts in my mind:
- I am going to a contract labor company and have a good reference
- I applied for an inventory company that my mom has been working with
Both jobs are just plain labor, which I don't mind one bit. My mom really hopes I get more work at the contracted place than the inventory but I wouldn't mind either.
The inventory company has more flexible hours, in my opinion. Usually over night jobs which is completely okay with me.
I am really hoping that one of these two places will hire me. As I told my mom before, I have money, not a lot but I do have it. It isn't even about the money, it is a pride thing for me.
I have a few plans as well for the next few days.
o Put my best foot forward this morning at the company
o Begin finishing the rest of the rest of the Genki II textbook
o Go to the gym
o Keep my eyes open for another job opportunity
o Straighten up the house
o Have lunch with my mom today
o Go to CVS
o Pick somethings up at the grocery store
