「春学期のしょにち」・・・・・☆

Today was exhausting~! Really, I am a little surprised myself how long the day felt.
Now it is 1:18am..so actually, yesterday was very tiring.
I had a difficult time falling asleep Sunday night so I woke up at 7:30am.'
I ate quickly, took my vitamins and headed to my first class.
One of my New Year's Resolutions is to always take the stairs..
After looking at my schedule I saw...

I will try my best to keep this promise! ｗ
So, International Contemporary Problems went well. It is going to be difficult I can tell but very interesting. Two of the exchange students I met last semester are in the class. I think we are going to try and form an alliance to study together for this class.
I had an hour gap between my second class, so I waited for my sister's class with her. Why? Because it was her first day of Japanese class and I wanted to introduce her to the professor and say hello (she was my professor for Japanese I & III)
Japanese Intermediate II began on time and I hadn't met the professor yet. The verdict is...
She is really cool! She speaks very quickly and very loudly! She seems like a lot of fun though and she said almost right away 「英語はだめですよ。。スペイン語もだめですよ！」
So, we have to try our hardest to speak in Japanese.
Afterwards I went to my next class with a professor I had twice last semester. The class is Intro to East Asia and I can tell it will overlap a lot of stuff from her other classes. She had me help explains somethings to the class.
I had subway for lunch and met up with my friend George for a little while. My sister and our other friends also joined us. He told us some funny stories from his time back in Guatemala.
By this time I was already a little tired. My next class at five felt very longggg.
The instructor seems kind and very knowledgeable about this topic. He teaches the tea ceremony class and various other classes. All of the students speak highly of him.
This class however, is History of Japan beginning around the time of the three unifiers of Japan.
He kept us the whole hour and fifteen minutes giving everyone a basis lecture on Oda Nobunaga, Hideyoshi Toyotomi and Tokugawa Ieyasu. I was familiar with a good part of it but somethings were new.
Having taken the classes I did last semester I feel extra prepared for my Asian Studies courses this time because they are so broad in comparison.
When I got back around 18:30 I was really sleepy. I ate and passed out until about 21:30. I joined my friend at the gym and stayed until just an hour ago or so.
It was a good first day and tomorrow I plan on meeting up with a friend to begin studying.
Yes, I already have reading due in every class for Wednesday!
So, today I sleeping in a little and preparing for some good studying. I also need to straighten out the interview details for Friday. I tried calling to confirm it today and got no response. It is slightly discouraging but I will try again tomorrow.
