４ＴＨ ☆ ＯＦ☆ＪＵＬＹ 花火

こんばんは~
Today I had no plans but just wanted to see fireworks!
I didn't get a chance to see fireworks last summer because I was at University.
My sister and mom were not really interested though but that was okay with me.
I drove over to the City Center about two miles from my mom's house.
たくさん人がいました！！びっくりした！
There were antique cars displayed all around the lake!! So when I arrived I went around taking pictures of all the cool cars.

I really liked this one!!

There was mostly families with their children so it was really sweet to see. Kids were running around and a lot of people had glow sticks for the night time.
It made me think a lot about when I was younger and went to see fireworks with my dad.

These gorgeous flowers surrounded the lake

I walked around for quite a bit and then eventually found a place to sit near the water about thirty minutes before it was time for fireworks.

I called my father and left him another message saying Happy Fourth of July. For the rest of the time I just watched all of the people walking by (mostly cute kids dressed in red, white and blue!)

Uncle Sam also made an appearance!!

There was a local band doing covers of songs such as "Pretty Woman" and the atmosphere was just really nice.
The fireworks began promptly at 21:00 but they were around the corner and I had to move!!
I took my photos but not all came out that great. I also recorded the show too so my mom and sister could see it like they were there. It was so much more amazing than what I could capture on my camera!
I am really glad that I had decided to go.
