やっぱり春学期の一日を終わりました!

もうちょっと疲れいています。。

So, I had a really good winter break. I got to visit with my family and even go on a small vacation to Savannah.

I got to cook for my boyfriend and spend plenty of time with him too. It's already killing me a little, I miss him a lot!

I spend the weekend at my aunt's house which was also really nice. I visited and got some home cooked meals.

On Saturday night I went to this little bar with my dad and my aunt. We shot pool, danced a little and drank quite a bit. I was lucky to wake up without a hangover.

Between my dad and I we did 18 shooters.....

I don't think I'll drink again for a little while....

So, today was the first day of the semester.
It felt long, a bit tiring.

My first class was Advanced Japanese and there are many good speakers in the class. Some of the people are quite advanced so it was a little intimidating. I really realized that I need to brush up on my speaking skills...

Afterwards I met up with some friends and caught up. They invited me for lunch after my next class so I suffered through Japanese conversation thinking about food.

Advanced Conversation is incredibly intimidating...it is all of the students who have studied abroad and I am definitely on the low end of the speaking spectrum here.

I think I can say pretty confidently that I am going to drop the class... Image and video hosting by TinyPic

It is really that difficult. In exchange though, I will have a little more free time and that's not so bad. Maybe I will take it in fall semester after I have completed Japanese 5.

So, after class I went to eat lunch and then headed back to the dorm to pass out for a little. The night before I spoke with the boyfriend until pretty late so I really needed a nap!

Did I say how much I missed him yet? Yes?

At 18:25 my next class started and I made a nice ass out of myself looking for the classroom. I finally found it and I am completely in love with the class already. This semester I think I might be more interested in my literature classes than my Asian Studies.

It is actually a nice change. I am looking forward to reading some new books and gaining more perspective. Of course, we already have quite a bit to read for Wednesday!

After class I came back and made something quick to eat then headed to the gym.

It was a pretty long day for me. Tomorrow I have so many things to get done and I really need to use my time wisely if I want to finish everything.

  2. Pick up my course packet
  3. Pick up my other books
