ほんとうに忙しいです!
I have been very busy and tired lately. But! I feel pretty good now that the weekend is getting closer. At the beginning of the weak I felt very stressed out.
My weak has been very difficult with lots of work to do. All of my deadlines and due dates seem around the corner. But today, today everything seems manageable. It is a good feeling.
I still have a lot to do tonight and this weekend. Plenty coming up but I don't feel like I am drowning so badly anymore.
The weather has been really favorable the past few days too. It's very nice, cool in the mornings and stays cool in the afternoons for the most part.
Beautiful weather means a beautiful sky...and it has been great too.
This morning and last night I got a lot of work done. Today in AP Chem we had a fun lab too. I really like lab days because they are more layed back and help to put the concepts we are learning together.
Today, the idea of the lab was to determine the molar mass of Butane, or C4H10. You might be thinking that all you have to do is look on the periodic table but this isn't the case necessarily in terms of finding its molar mass.
We obtained certain factors so we could use the ideal gas law. Pv = nRT
P= pressure (obtained in torrs or atm) T= temperature (always in Kelvin)
n= number of moles R= constant; 0.0821 v= volume (always in Liters)
Our percent error was alright but we made some funny mistakes. It will be easy to explain our mistakes in the lab report for next thursday. I had turned to one of my lab partners and asked "So, what do you think are our possible errors so far?" (because we have to log our errors, to discuss later in our reports)
He gave me a funny smile and said "Hmm..maybe when I cracked the petri dish during the first trial...possibly we lost some butane"
XD Well yeah, of course haha. It was funny.
Tomorrow I am finally taking the Chem test that I missed. I am nervous but happy to get it out of the way altogether. Tonight I have to finish an old lab report dealing with titrations. There are somethings I really need to remember for the test tomorrow, including my solubility rules, strongest acids and bases as well as half reactions dealing with oxidation and reduction.
There are somethings that are very tricky. For example, here is one of the equation questions:Excess nitric acid is added to solid sodium bicarbonate.
From there we have to write the balanced net equation and then answer a question about the reaction.
HNO3 + NAHCO3 -----> H2O + C2O + NaNO3
The tricky part is realizing that when an acid reacts with a carbonate, carbon dioxide and water is always formed. One would think that H2CO3 was the product, but that's not correct. The next equation is then what is left that is most important and has changed.
H (+) + HCO3 (-) ------> H2O + CO2
So, somethings are a bit of a headache (lol) Last chapter was all about reactions and classifying them. Along with titrations and more on molar mass. This chapter is all about gases, so it's a lot more simpler. We test on Tuesday!!
Chem on the brain much, right? (lol) I am done talking about it. Tonight I have some goals and a lot of homework.
(Oh wow, it's me! lol)

I got some practical gifts from my mom and sister today. They were really nice though, very useful. I am happy either way. Happy 18 to me within a few hours.

So, you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul,
instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
You learn that you really can endure,
that you really are strong, and you really do have worth.
You learn and learn, with every goodbye you learn.
Scream your name
Your thoughts, and your cries. Be nice.
Tagboard here, I like shoutmix.com. It can be 100% in width, the height you can put it as whatever. Best if the style is "wide"
