Adjectives
-Two types of adjectives in Japanese, they are called "i" adjectives and "na" adjectives, respectively.

"i" adjectives
- End in "i" and the "i" is always written in hirigana.
ex: 美しい (うつくしい) Beautiful
- Majority of adjectives are "i" adjectives

Common I-Adjectives
新しい(あたらしい)- New
暑い(あつい)- Hot (temeperature)
美味しい(おいしい)- Delicious
面白い(おもしろい)- interesting, funny
長い(ながい)- long, lengthy (time)
短い(みじかい)- short (length not height)
古い (ふるい)- old
つまらない- boring
寒い(さむい)- cold (temperature)
易しい(やさしい)- easy or Kind/gentle
悪い(わるい)- Not so good, bad
早い(はやい)- early, quick
小さい- small
高い(たかい)- tall, expensive (tall = 背が高い (se ga takai) )
忙しい(いそがしい)- busy
安い(やすい)- cheap, inexpensive
大人しい(おとなしい)- quiet, shy
好い(いい)- good, nice
明るい(あかるい)- bright, cheerful
広い(ひろい)- spacious, big (place) or "broadminded" (寛い)
